🗓️ How to join

You choose one walk day (Saturday 23, Sunday 24 or Monday 25 May).
There are two ways to join:

Deposit: €20 per person (non‑refundable). Remaining balance paid on the day (cash or Revolut).
Accommodation (if you choose the Sofia option) is paid directly to the guesthouse – I will help you book.

🌲 What you’ll experience

This is not a standard hike. It’s a slow, curious walk with a scientist who knows every petal, leaf, and story hidden in the forest.

You’ll step into one of Europe’s most mysterious landscapes – the Colchian rainforest, where evergreen rhododendrons bloom in May. Your botanist will show you:

• How to tell a rhododendron from a wild azalea

• Why this forest survived the Ice Age

• The secret life of plants – under a microscope

After the walk, we’ll share a picnic on a sunny meadow or under a blooming tree. No rush, no crowds – just nature, science, and good company.

💬 Practical notes

From Sofia (depart 22 May, overnight in Strandzha):

• Depart Sofia: Friday 22 May – exact time TBD (late afternoon). I drive, limited seats (max 4).

• Sleep: Local guesthouse near Kosti or Brashlyan (€20–30 per night, breakfast not included).

• Walk day: You choose Saturday 23, Sunday 24 or Monday 25.

• Return: After the walk on your chosen day (we drive back together, or you can stay longer).

Meet on site (on your chosen walk day):

• Meeting time: 10:00 at the trailhead (exact location after booking).

• End: ~16:00. You drive yourself home.

Minimum participants: We need at least 3 people per walk day to run. If a day doesn’t reach the minimum, you can switch to another day or get a full refund (deposit returned).

📝 How to book

1. Select your option below.

   • From Sofia (depart 22 May) – choose your walk day later

2. Pay the €20 deposit per person.

3. After checkout, I will contact you to:

   • Confirm your walk day (if you chose “From Sofia”)

   • Help you book the guesthouse (if applicable)

   • Provide exact meeting point and timing

4. Remaining balance (€55 or €30) paid on the day (cash or Revolut).

⚠️ Your spot is only confirmed after deposit payment. Deposits are non‑refundable but transferable to another person.
